Registration Information

The Government Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (GFIRST), in cooperation with US-CERT (United States Computer Emergency Readiness Team), is pleased to invite the information security community to the 4th Annual GFIRST National Conference. This year’s event will be held at the Caribe Royale Orlando All-Suites Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida, on June 1–6, 2008.

Registration is now closed.

Registration Policies

  • Travel, accommodations, and any additional expenses are NOT covered by GFIRST.
  • Accommodations for government employees can be booked by visiting Caribe Royale Orlando All-Suites Hotel and Convention Center Reservations. Valid Federal, State, or local government-issued photo identification is required upon check-in to guarantee the federal per diem rate of $99. THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS.


  • *Please note: there is a limited number of rooms at the $99 government rate.

  • Accommodations for non-government employees can also be made by visiting Caribe Royale Orlando All-Suites Hotel and Convention Center Reservations. Special conference rates are available.
  • Phone reservations can be made by calling 1-800-823-8300. Please ask for the "GFIRST Conference room block".
  • Hotel reservations must be made by May 9, 2008 in order to guarantee the special Conference rates.
  • Cancellations: All cancellations must be sent via email to gfirst@us-cert.gov no later than April 30, 2008.
  • Substitutions: All requests for substitution of one attendee for another must be received via email to gfirst@us-cert.gov by no later than April 30, 2008.
